A Small Comeback

If I'm being honest, I've spent the last few years going back and forth about how much space photography should occupy in this season of my life.

I'm back in school, working toward a degree in psychology, and life looks very different than it did when I first picked up a camera sixteen years ago. There have been plenty of moments where I wondered if I was ready to step away.

The reality, though, is that I'm not sure I'll ever fully let go of my love for photography.

I love the creativity. I love the relationships. I love the privilege of documenting people's lives and watching families grow over the years.

So, for now, I'm staying.

Not at the pace I once worked. Not trying to fill every weekend or take every inquiry that comes my way. Just continuing to photograph people and families as my schedule allows.

I'm incredibly grateful for the referrals, support, and trust you've shown me over the years. So much of my business has been built through word of mouth, and I never take that for granted.

One of the gifts of this season is realizing that I don't have to do everything. I can be intentional with my time, protect space for my family and studies, outsource the things I don't love, and continue doing the work that brings me joy.

So if you're looking for family photos, planning a wedding, gathering generations together, or simply wanting to document this season of life, I'd love to hear from you.

Here's to new seasons, old passions, and finding a way to hold both.
