Oh Chantelley-Dawn. My baby sister. I can’t believe that you’re actually married. Like, this is actually legit. You’ve gone and grown up and got yourself a husband.
I cry every time I look through these photos. You were so emotional that day, so excited to (finally!) be getting married to the man of your dreams after 5 years of dating. It can be hard, in a family as big as ours, to really get a feel for everyone’s relationships and while we all knew that you guys were crazy about each other it was so special to really experience your love throughout the day. Walter brings out so much good in you and you in him; just the way its supposed to be. And it makes my heart burst to see you so blessed – surrounded by family, and friends that you call family, and celebrating your union before God and all those witnesses. You were so beautiful. And happy. And you moved so many people to tears.
I’m so proud of you, Chan. And feel so lucky to have been such a big part of your day ♥
XO
My heart pitter patters over this first look everytime!
So happy to have found this random little field for formal photos after our original location fell through due to torrential rainfalls the day before the wedding.
After all the formals, we headed off to the ceremony where they made things official. My middle child is pictured below, frowning on his way down the aisle 😉
And then, off to the reception 🙂 Chantelle put so much time and effort into the decor and the ambiance in the tent was perfect! All of the detail shots below were taken by my amazing sister in law, Rachel, who second shot with me that day!
So happy to have snuck these shots in during the reception ♥
