Kilby Ruins Engagement Session

Get ready to feast your eyes on this stunning Kilby ruins engagement session!

These ruins are awesome. I’d shot there a few times previous to this session, but never under/for my own company so I was excited to challenge myself to see the place a bit differently than I had the previous two times. There’s always this pressure as a photographer to get new and unique shots. You don’t want to go out and just start copying people’s poses and locations, even IF it’s super hard to be original, so I went in setting the bar high for myself. I knew I wouldn’t have any issues getting pretty pictures..I had a stunning location, GORGEOUS light and a super good looking couple at my disposal.. so I was really trying to cross that line between pretty photos and awesome photos. I figured that if I couldn’t get something great out of this session it was probably time to hang up the proverbial towel 😉 THANK goodness, I lucked out, lol!! Priscilla and Dave were amazing, putting up with every one of my random requests and just totally relaxing in front of the camera. It probably sounds like a stuck record around here but THE. BEST. photos are made when a couple feels comfortable enough to just chill and canoodle in front of the camera!! The proof is in the pudding, folks, and you can see for yourselves below ♥
