Cultus Lake Elopement

OK, it feels like I start every single blog post off by gushing about how each shoot or wedding was my favorite ever and you’re probably so sick of hearing it but I need you all to know that it is a sincere gush each and every time. I feel like I need to pinch myself sometimes, partially because I live in this beautiful province that lends me so much of its beauty to me on a daily basis, but also because my clients just keep rocking my socks off. This cultus lake elopement from last month (yes, last month.. i royally suck at blogging…!!) is honestly one of my top five career highlights and that’s saying a lot!

A few weeks ago, when trying to come up with practical solutions to more efficient blogging I agreed with myself that I’d share only my top 10 favorite photos to my blog from each session or wedding and of COURSE this has to be the first wedding to be blogged after that little decision was made… So.. I may or may not have just cheated on myself but there are a few extras here… I literally could not pare it down. I tried. I promise…

K&J honestly.. you guys were SO awesome to shoot. So FUN, so in love and just so dang easy to be around!! After our first meeting I knew we were destined to be……just us three, haha!! I’m so pumped you guys found me and so, SO pumped that I got to photograph so much beauty in one day through the two of you! You have such an obvious love and admiration for one another and I’m not at all the sappy type but I think you guys have more than enough of “what it takes” to make it through a lifetime together! Thanks bunches for trusting me with what was obviously such an important day in your lives! I’m so excited for you to be able to share these photos with all of your family and friends back home. I smiled my way through every hour of editing these photos so I can’t even imagine what sorts of feelings these images will elicit from all of the people who couldn’t be there in person ♥
